About percentage calculators
The most common mistake with percentages is not arithmetic, it is framing. “What is 20% of 80?”, “80 is what percent of 400?”, “what is the percentage change from 80 to 100?” and “what is the percentage difference between 80 and 100?” are four different calculations that produce four different numbers, and mixing them up is how reports end up with figures nobody can reproduce.
